My name is Sheila, and I am the patient coordinator here at Neo Orthodontics Newcastle.

 

At Neo Orthodontics we pride ourselves on providing afordable private dentistry to our patients. We like to offer a personal welcoming service which will give you every confidence knowing that we care about what your smile means to you.

 

We have seen a tremendous progression in orthodontic services and treatment over the years; with the introduction of clear braces, hidden braces, and more aesthetically pleasing appliances that allows you to carry on with day to day life with confidence.

 

Neo Orthodontics boasts a wealth of experience and qualifications in our three specialist orthodontists - Usman Qureshi, Preet Bhogal and Zia Ud-Din, who are at the forefront of the orthodontic field. Whether you are concerned about mild or extensive crowding; their professionalism and experience allows them to discuss all of the treatemtn options available to you.

As well as various treatment options; we also offer a choice of convenient payment plans - including a 0% finance option!

Preet graduated from the University of Birmingham in 2000, winning the Walpole-Day prize in Orthodontics. He then undertook several speciality posts including General Dental Practice and Oral and Maxilofacial Surgery. During this time he obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England.

Zia graduated from the University of Manchester in 2001. He then undertook several training posts including Oral Maxillofacial Surgery and Paediatric Dentistry, which provide a fantastic grounding to become a Specialist Orthodontist. During this time he obtained his Membership in the Faculty of Dental Surgery from Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh.

He undertook his Specialist training in Orthodontics at Birmingham Dental Hospital and was awarded a Masters in Philosophy and obtained his Membership in Orthodontics from the Royal College of Surgeons Edinburgh. He subsequently gained entry onto the General Dental Councils Specialist list for orthodontics.

As a further recognition of his clinical expertise he was awarded a highly prestigious British Orthodontic Society Prize for excellence of his treated cases.

Zia is a registered provider of incognito the invisible "lingual brace" system and uses the latest orthodontic techniques such as Damon and Invisalign. This allows him to be able to make the most informed decision when providing treatment for children or adults. Zia believes that orthodontic treatment should only ever be done once and holds a strong philosophy of retention to ensure his patients keep their lovely straight smile forever.

Peter qualified as a general dental practitioner at Newcastle in 1983 and his passion is orthodontics.

In his career Peter has delivered his expertise to Newcastle dental hospital and practices in Stockton.

As well as orthodontics, Peter also enjoys a round of golf and various outdoor activities.

You can find Peter at three of our sites - Newcastle, Ashington and Hexham.

Catherine graduated from Newcastle University in 2000. After completing her vocational training in Alnwick she worked as a general dental practitioner in South Tyneside. During this time she obtained Membership of the Faculty of Dental Surgeons of England. In 2003 she began working as a clinical assistant in Orthodontics in Wearside and remained in this post for seven years during which she completed the Diploma in Primary Care Orthodontics awarded jointly by the British Orthodontics Society and the Royal College of Surgeons of England. She is a dentist with a special interest in Orthodontics.

During her free time she is kept busy by her two little boys and enjoys gardening and running.
